Turn a messy file thread into a clean internal summary and next-document ask.

Scenario

A file thread has partial facts, repeated questions, unclear risk, and a partner waiting for a useful update.

Guardrail

AI can organize the file. It cannot approve the file, deny the file, infer missing facts, quote rates, provide legal/tax advice, or cite rules you did not provide. The prompt must force uncertainty to stay visible.

Prompt pattern

Paste only scrubbed, non-identifying notes. Ask for four buckets: known borrower facts, known property facts, product assumptions, and open conditions. Then ask for the next three documents or questions that would most reduce uncertainty.

Review step

Before sending anything, check whether the AI introduced a fact you did not provide, converted an assumption into certainty, used a guideline claim without a source, leaked internal risk language, or sounded like approval. Delete anything that sounds too confident.

  • Run the prompt on a scrubbed sample note.
  • Highlight every output sentence that is an assumption.
